AdBlue

AdBlue® is a solution designed to reduce exhaust gas emissions from heavy-duty diesel vehicles and to ensure compliance with Euro 4, Euro 5, and Euro 6 emission standards. AdBlue® is a 32.5% aqueous urea solution, compliant with ISO 22241. It is used to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. AdBlue promotes the chemical conversion of harmful exhaust gases produced by diesel engines into harmless nitrogen and water vapor within the catalytic converter, significantly reducing environmental impact.

Its use in vehicles equipped with SCR technology ensures continuous compliance with European Euro 4, Euro 5, and Euro 6 regulations governing exhaust emissions.

AdBlue® is injected into the exhaust system via a dedicated onboard tank. Its consumption typically represents approximately 5% of total diesel fuel consumption and allows a reduction of up to 85% in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.

AdBlue must not be stored at temperatures exceeding 30°C.

It should be kept in clean, sealed containers, protected from direct sunlight, contamination, and extreme temperature variations to maintain product quality.
