Job Description
The General Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the planning, coordination, and control of the production operations of lubricants, greases, and automotive maintenance products, in compliance with quality, cost, safety, and deadline objectives.
Ensure industrial performance and the optimization of human and material resources of the production site.
Main Responsibilities
1 . Production Management
- Plan and supervise all lubricant manufacturing operations.
- Monitor production performance indicators (efficiency, quality, safety, deadlines).
2 . Quality Control
- Ensure that finished products comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
3 . Team Management
- Manage and lead a production team (operators, technicians).
4 . Regulatory and Environmental Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in force within the framework of lubricant production.
5 . Reporting and Communication
- Report to the Operations Management on finished product results and raw material consumption.
Required Profile
1 . Education
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in industrial engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, production management, or equivalent.
2 . Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position.
3 . Technical Skills
- Knowledge of oil and grease manufacturing processes.
- Mastery of production planning and monitoring tools.
- Good knowledge of first-level maintenance and quality control.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and HSE frameworks.
4 . Behavioral Skills
- Leadership, organizational skills, and responsiveness.
- Analytical and decision-making mindset.
- Rigor, results-oriented, and respect for deadlines.
5 . Working Conditions
- Position based in Biskra.
- Frequent on-site interventions (workshops, production areas).
