Job Description
The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring the planning, coordination, and control of all logistics activities related to the transport of fuels and LPG.
Ensure the availability of rolling equipment within deadlines and under safety, quality, and profitability conditions compliant with regulatory requirements and the company’s objectives.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop the supply, storage, and distribution strategy for fuels and LPG and ensure consistency between the logistics strategy and the company’s commercial objectives.
2. Supervise logistics operations, industrial and mechanical maintenance, and supply activities with suppliers and clients.
3. Ensure the optimization of spare parts (PDR) inventories and the reduction of losses or stock shortages.
4. Ensure compliance with HSE standards (Health, Safety, Environment) across the entire logistics scope.
5. Monitor performance indicators (logistics KPIs: costs, deadlines, service quality, loss rates).
6. Ensure coordination between the transport, commercial, purchasing, mechanical, and industrial maintenance departments.
7. Participate in defining needs for human, technical, and spare parts (PDR) resources.
Required Profile
1 . Education
- University degree related to hydrocarbon transport, logistics, and/or a similar field.
2 . Experience
- Ten (10) years in transport, ideally in the hazardous products transport sector.
3 . Technical Skills
- Proficiency in IT tools related to transport (Intellix, fleet tracking software).
- Perfect command of the French language.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
4 . Behavioral Skills
- Leadership and sense of responsibility.
- Rigor, responsiveness, and results orientation.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage unforeseen situations.
5 . Working Conditions
- Position based in Biskra.
- Frequent travel to depots and distribution points.
- On-call duty possible in case of operational emergencies.
